Welcome to Highlawn's ordering information page! This page will answer all your questions about ordering from our company. For more than 15 years, Highlawn MS Inc. has developed relationships with our customers based on respect and integrity. We're aware of the trust and confidence you demonstrate when you visit our website and provide us with information. The Privacy Notice below is posted to demonstrate our adherence to the practices you'll find common to the best websites online. We promise that we will treat your information with the same honesty and sensitivity that we have displayed throughout our company's history.

 

Privacy and Security:


When you place orders or access your account information, we use a secure server. The secure server software (SSL) encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us so your information is safe. Furthermore, all of the customer data we collect is protected against unauthorized access.


Highlawn MS Inc. has very strict policies and procedures designed to protect the privacy of our customers and subscribers. We will never share or sell your personal information to any external organization. Any personal information you provide is also protected internally. All personnel with access to personal information are aware of our policies. Any breach of this policy would result in immediate dismissal of the person responsible.

 

 

For your protection:

  • All orders are processed on our site through our secure server.
  • All orders submitted to Highlawn MS Inc. are subject to verification and approval.
  • All approved orders will be accompanied by an E-mail confirmation.
  • Customer’s E-mail address must be provided during the checkout process.

 

Orders within the USA:

  • All shipping addresses must be on file and confirmed by the credit card issuer.
  • Clearing time applies for all checks and money orders. All items will be shipped, with tracking number confirmation, as soon as the check is cleared.
  • No COD orders!
  • All shipping charges include handling and full insurance.
  • Orders shipped to New York State are subject to New York State sales tax.
  • Rush shipping services are available upon request.


International Orders:


Due to bank requirements for all foreign credit card orders, the following information must be provided by fax (1-718-236-1573).

  • A copy of the credit card (front and back).
  • A copy of the cardholder's personal identification (i.e. passport, driver's license, or equivalent).
  • The cardholder's billing address (if different from shipping address).

In addition, the following terms apply to all international orders:

  • Shipping address must be on file and confirmed by the credit card issuer.
  • Clearing time applies for all checks and money orders.
  • No COD orders!
  • Local taxes, duties, broker’s fees, and other charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.



FUTURO FUTURO THREE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY


General Warranty Promise:

Futuro Futuro warrants to the original consumer purchaser of its products that such products will be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of three years from the date of original purchase.


Who is Covered:

The Futuro Futuro warranty is extended to the original purchaser of products purchased for ordinary home use in the 48 contiguous states, Hawaii, Alaska and customers in Canada.


One Year Service Repair Warranty:

For one year from the original date of purchase, Futuro Futuro will, at its option, replace or repair, free of charge, any failed parts or components due to manufacturing defects found under normal use and service.


Three Year Parts Warranty:

For three years from the original date of purchase, Futuro Futuro will provide, free of charge, non-consumable replacement parts which are found to be defective under normal use and service for all products manufactured after 02/01/2006.


What is Not Covered:

  • Service calls to correct the installation of your range hood, to instruct you how to use your range hood, to replace or repair house fuses or to repair house wiring.
  • Consumable parts, such as light bulbs and filters.
  • Service outside of covered service area.
  • Labor cost associated with the removal, shipping and reinstallation cost, or other contingent expenses.
  • Chips, dents or cracks due to misuse, abuse or improper installation.
  • Damage to products caused by accident, fire, act of God, war, strikes, lock-outs, flood, and failure by third parties to deliver goods.


The Warranty will be Void if:

  • Improper installation or failure to follow recommended installation instructions (i.e. cutting the power cord plug).
  • Product is damaged through negligence, misuse, abuse or accident.
  • Product is repaired or altered by anyone other than Futuro Futuro Authorized Agents.

This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may have other rights which vary from state to state. For service under this Limited Warranty, please contact Futuro Futuro by E-mail. At the time of requesting warranty service, you must present evidence of the original purchase date (such as a receipt.)




RETURN POLICY


Terms:

Prior to shipping, all of our products are thoroughly inspected to verify that they leave our facilities in brand-new condition. We encourage all customers to inspect the packages immediately upon arrival, and test the item(s) for functionality prior to installation.

* If an item is physically damaged during shipment, the damage must be reported to Futuro Futuro within 10 (ten) days of the delivery date. After 10 (ten) days, it will be the customer’s responsibility to file a damage claim with the shipping company. Futuro Futuro will cooperate with the customer in filing the claim, if required to do so by the shipping company.

* If merchandise is found to be defective or malfunctioning (but not due to damage in transit), the customer will have 10 (ten) days from the delivery date to notify Futuro Futuro. All returns due to damage or malfunction will be eligible for an exact replacement only (no refunds).

* All products to be returned for a refund are subject to a 20% (twenty percent) restocking fee, and must be shipped PREPAID at the customer’s expense.

* It is the customer's responsibility to consult their ventilation specialist prior to purchase in order to assure that the product will fit its intended application, as well as comply with local building codes.

General terms (applicable to ALL returns):

  • All merchandise is eligible for returns within 30 (thirty) days after the delivery date.
  • All returns must have return authorization from Futuro Futuro prior to shipment.
  • International orders: shipping charges, customs duties, broker fees, and local taxes, are not refundable.
  • Orders within the 48 contiguous states: shipping charges are not refundable.
  • Special-order items cannot be returned.
  • Items must be received in the original packaging materials, including the original, securely sealed box, Styrofoam, accessories, and instruction manual.
  • Items returned for a refund must be free from scratches, dents, or any other damage.
  • There are absolutely no refunds or exchanges on installed or used items.
